We are grateful to the Aboriginal ancestors of this unceded land of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit and we have a role to play in Truth and Reconciliation or Reconcili-Action on the lands that hold life, food and shelter for our families and communities.
